Question: What can i use instead of soft light brown sugar in a recipe for oat and raisin cookies!? !?
Answers:
You can use regular sugar, although the cookies will not be as moist and chewy!.
I would go for almost all regular white sugar, then add honey to top it off!. You just need a bit, and you will get extra moisture and chewiness, as well as a good flavor from the honey!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could use part dark brown sugar and part white, if you're after the same taste!. Or white sugar with a little molasses stirred in -- that's all brown sugar is, anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Raw sugar is an excellent substitute!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
