Question: I am a 19 yr!. old female on a college-student budget trying to gain weight!. any meal ideas/recipes!?
i'd like to plan out a week's worth of meals in advance, but i'm not too experienced with shopping on a tight budget!. i'm also trying to gain 5-10 lbs!. (my height is 5'3 and i weigh 102) but don't know which foods to look for!. i really can't stomach fast-food and red meat will also be difficult!. also i am lactose-intolerant (my daily multivitamin contains 115 mg of calcium, if anyone can tell me whether i should be getting more)!. i can cook pretty much anything short of gourmet and i've got an adequately stocked spice cabinet, i just need ideas!. i usually eat oatmeal and a banana for breakfast, and rice and chicken or papa murphy's or subway for dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Baked Beans (Pork and Beans) or anything like that is good, plenty of Rice, Pasta, Potatoes!.!.!.

Subway is good value!. You can always try to make your own if you have a good place for cheap bread, but it's hard to get all the ingredients for the same price!.

I would donate you a few of my pounds if I could :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

An idea would be talk to one of the schools dieticians to set you up with a good diet plan, increase your muscle tone by working out and walking at your campus rec center, take a yoga class (free) at the center for stretching!. Remember muscle weighs more than fat!. You want to add muscle not fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go out for dinner once and a while to like a burger place!.!. not fast foods but like red robin!. go to 31 baskin robins (ice cream store) and get so ice cream for dessertWww@FoodAQ@Com
