Answers:
Definitely start making the rice about an hour before you cook the dinner!.

Not only do you need to cook the rice for about 15-20 minutes, but you need to let it stand, covered, for at least 30 minutes so it comes out nice and loose and not soggy!. Here is my standard recipe!.

Boil 1 3/4 cups water, with 1/2t salt and 1tsp butter/margarine!.
Add 1 cup extra long grain rice!. Do not stir!. Bring to a boil, Cover tightly with a lid, then lower the heat to low!. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes!. Do NOT lift the lid, not even for one second!.

Turn the heat off, and leave the pan of rice alone for at least 30 minutes, covered, and do NOT lift the lid!. Fluff with a fork, then serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should have a rice cooker with warmer!.
Cook your rice about 30 minutes before you start to cook!.
If your cooker has the warmer, at least you won't have hard dried out rice when it's time to eat!.
No need to add butter to the rice, don't know what that is for, that is not the way to eat Asian dishes girlfriend!
If cooking 2 cups white rice, add 2 1/4 cup water and just a sprinkle of salt or like 2-3 shakes and stir and start the cooker!. You could even add 1 teaspoon Japanese vinegar instead of the salt!. Adding salt or Japanese vinegar to the water is just so that your rice will last for at least one more day in a rice cooker warmer, that means you can leave your cooked rice warmer on over night and eat hot rice again in the morning for breakfast with some scrambled eggs and sausage or even lunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook the rice,!.!. and just keep it damp not wet! the oils that use to fry it will re juvenate it and may it tasty !. You could cook the rice two days before and frif it !! Good Luck! I love Asian food and use a ton of rice!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The recipe calls for 2 cups of cooked Brown or White rice!.

Read the recipe several times until you understand what you have to do!.

It's an easy mistake to make!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook the rice first, it takes longer to cook!. Keep it on low heat to keep warm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

YOU CAN PRE-COOK YOUR RICE AND LET IT SIT UNTIL YOUR READY TO ADD IT!.

NO PROBLEM AT ALL!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
