I forgot my pork in crock pot!?!

Question: I forgot my pork in crock pot!!?
I put my pork shoulder in the crock pot (making pulled pork!) around 3 pm yesterday with intentions of putting it it in the fridge after about 8 or 10 hours of cooking!. It was supposed to be for tonight's dinner!. I forgot it was in there until this morning!. It's been on warm for about 8 hours, at least!. Since it's still been on warm, is it still ok to put in the fridge and serve for dinner tonight!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would check the temperature of the meat!. If it was cooked to a temperature of 160 and now has a temperature of 140'F - 160'F then it should be safe to eat!. It may be dry however!. You might want to add some stock or shred it and add BBQ sauce for BBQ pork sandwiches!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't eat it!. Crock pots are in the first place a truly heaven for bacterias, although they are convenient!. But after my husband's intern tested food from crock pots at restaurants and people's houses and showed us the bacteria growth going on there compared to cooking properly then I never eat food from a crock pot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't be afraid!. it will be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
