What's the best way to clean a pizza stone?!

Question: What's the best way to clean a pizza stone!?
Until last night I never used one before!. Is it as easy as soap and water!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You aren't supposed to use soap and water to clean your pizza stone!. The stone has many tiny holes in it and will absorb the soap just like a sponge!. When you need to clean it just use clear water!. Often you should just be able to use a scraper to get anything off the surface from the last time you used it and it should be ready to use again!. If it's really dirty you could try submerging it in warm clear water for about 15 minutes or so and then wiping it off!. Just don't use soap!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I only use a sponge/scrubber and water to clean the top of my pizza stone, but I like to have it "seasoned!."

If you to wash/clean your stone, do not submerge or soak the stone!. The porous material will crack, breaking your stone in half (or into a jigsaw puzzle)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't use soap!
Never soap on stoneware!.

Use a scrubby brush, or one of those plastic scraper things!.
