Answers:
The following ingredients will make between 8-16, depending on the size!. You may change the amounts of ingredients according to the amount of which you wish to serve!.
* 2 cups Self rising flour (All Purpose can work, too)
* 2 eggs
* 2 3/4 cups of milk
* 1/4 cup olive oil
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 3 tablespoons sugar
* 1 1/2 tablespoons of baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
# Beat eggs until fluffy!. Add dry ingredients, followed by milk, and oil!.
Melt butter and add to mix!. Stir gently, leave some small clumps in the batter!. DO NOT BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH, your pancakes will be tough and flat as opposed to fluffy!. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
Heat frying pan to a medium low flame!. If you have an inital 'pancake' setting on your stove, use that!. Be sure to use non-stick spray, or a pat of butter so the pancakes won't stick!.
To be sure the pan is hot enough, sprinkle some water on it!. If it 'dances', it is ready!.
Pour about 3 tablespoons- 1/4 cup batter from tip of large spoon or from pitcher onto hot griddle!.
Cook for two minutes until the pancake is golden!. You should see bubbles form and then pop around the edges!. When the bubbles at the edge of the batter pop and a hole is left that does not immediately close up, flip!.
Cook the other side until golden!.
!. Remove when both sides are golden and serve!. Enjoy!
* Top with honey, orange juice, cinnamon powder, golden syrup, sugar or whatever else you would like!.
* If you really have a sweet tooth, add a little vanilla essence to the mix!.
* Lemon juice and fine sugar make a very traditional and delicious topping!.
* Don't be surprised if the first pancake is a flop!. It is often the pancake that seasons the pan for the remaining successful ones to come!.
* You can also put strawberries on it!.
* Your pancakes will cook much better if they are cooked on a skillet as opposed to a frying pan!.
* Try putting cinnamon sugar on it when you cook in the pan!. Roll it up, then serve it as a crepe for a delicious treat!.
* After turning the pancake put a few squares of chocolate (dark or milk chocolate) and let it melt then fold your pancake before serving!.
* Add banana slices (mash separately) into the mixture for a delightful new fresh taste--and add strawberries on the top (frozen ones in a container from the store taste best)!.
* If you want to make blueberry, raspberry, or any other kind of 'berry' pancakes, just add the fruit into the batter before you cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use this recipe to make what I call pikelets but you can use it to make pancakes too by just adding some more milk its super easy and you can mix it in a bowl without making extra washing up and have your pan heating while you mix
This is for one quantity and you can multiply it by as many times as you wish to make bigger quantities:
Put either one cup of self raising flour or 1 cup plain (all purpose) flour and 2 teaspoons baking powder into a bowl!. Add 1 egg and 1 good heaped tablespoon of golden syrup,light corn syrup or light treacle and stir in - then add 1/2 - 1 cup of milk and stir it vigourously adding more milk till it is like light cream when poured !. You can do this while your pan heats!. Pour some batter into greased pan and cook as you usually would for pancakes - when they bubble on one side flip them over and cook on other side till browned!. Serve and enjoy with your favourite topping Its so easy Www@FoodAQ@Com
