What is the safe-iest thing to cook with?!
lets say i want to boil some water to drink, what is the best, safe-iest material i would use to build my water boiler container
explantioions, talfon can't take high heat, if i deep fry, it'll leach poison into my delicious fried chicken
painted steel, i just don't trust them, i mean it's paint, how the he ll am i spose to beleive that paint is safe to eat with, and it chips off
i read that alumium is no good
and other stuff, what can i do!?

i agree that teflon isn't safe!. it IS paint!. that's just gross!.
the word on aluminum is that it MAY cause a build up of heavy metals in your brain, causing alzheimer's disease, but they don't seem to really be able to solidify that one!.
you can find stainless steel pots and pans, but they'll run you a pretty penny!. they come with a copper bottom or an aluminum core to evenly distribute heat!. they're nice!. it keeps stuff from burning in that ring shape from the electric burners!
you can also do SOME stove-top cooking in corning ware (glass) but check the manual for temperature limits!. i like this option, since glass is nothing but sand so nothing harmful can leach into your food!.

i agree that you shouldn't stress too much about it!. there is a line of glass cookware for the stove top and in the oven!. i can't remember the name, but it's out there!. i hope that helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com
