Answers:
the healthiest thing you can steam is fish it make it nice and soft but cooked healthy!. Most veg can be but i would recommend chicken and meats if you do it would be better to just boil in bag as you lose to much goodness!. but if you do fish you cannot really cook it the same time as veg as it cooks in about 5 to 10 mins and would need to be on top of the veg which is a bad idea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can steam chicken and meat, but unless wrapped in foil with (say) black pepper, lemon juice, herbs to taste it can be rather bland!. You can steam any vegetables!. Tomatoes grill nicely and bake in the oven!. Cooked tomato is extra good, cooking releases the beneficial lycopene!.
Steamed puddings are fantastic, can be reasonably healthy if you cut down sugar and use half fat butter!.
Savoury steamed puddings, cut the amount of fat, add lots of filling, veg!., chicken, steak and kidney (not often!), they are great in the autumn and winter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
