What is the difference between standard and narrative recipe formats?!

Question: What is the difference between standard and narrative recipe formats!?
It's for my Foods class!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
In a standard format, the ingredients are all together below the title of the recipe!. In the narrative format, the ingredients are interspersed between the sentences!. For instance, here's an example of narrative from Joy of Cooking

Mix together:
1 c sugar
1/2 c butter
Add to the mixture:
2 eggs
Beat well and add:
2 c flour

And the recipe goes on!.!.!.!.!.

Hope that helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would assume that the following is standard:

1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt

Mix above ingredients!.

And the following is narrative:

Mix 1 tsp of sugar with 1 tsp of salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
