How do I cook chicken in the oven?!

Question: How do I cook chicken in the oven!?
I've got chicken breasts (3) which I would like to cook in the oven, my Mum used to cook them in a casserole dish in plain water and I was wondering how long and at what temperature to do this!.!. I have a fan assisted oven!. I don't want to cook them in anything like gravy just in plain water to cook them for using in another recipe thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
No water!. Just put them in a casserole dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper and bake them at 325 for about 1 1/2hrs!. The skin will moisten them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm sure information is available on the Internet on recipe sites as well as following directions given on the packaging but as it happens I am cooking chicken breasts as I speak in the oven and the directions given say that you lay them on a baking tray at 190 degrees(electric oven)not sure what that is in gas marks!. And that they should be ready in approx 25-30 mins!.

You can loosely wrap them in tin foil and yes you can cook them for longer!.!.!.

What's important is that the juices run clear when you prick them or not at all to be sure the breasts are fully cooked!.

If not you have to be careful of food poisoning!.!.!.

Good Luck!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well what I do is season the chicken with salt, black pepper, jamaican powder seasoning, escallion, thyme, onions, paprika, hot pepper (scotch bonnet pepper or pepper flakes)!. Then put it in a aluminum baking container and cover it with foil paper!. This causes the meat to generate its own liquid and the chicken will be so soft and tender!. When its tender and cooked, just take the foil paper off and put back the chicken in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, so that it can get a nice golden colour and reduce the gravy to perfection!.

Sometimes I throw some potatoes in there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would place them in a casserole dish, sprinkle with salt and cover with foil!. Bake at 350 until done!. You may have to add a little water so they dont dry out!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would say about 160/180 degrees at 30/45 mins, u will have to keep an eye on them 2 make sure they dont boil dry of water, enjoy your meal
REMEBER never cook from frozen!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
