Which potato is good for steak?!

Question: Which potato is good for steak!?
a red potato or a white potato Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
red potatoes are better and tasterWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think all the answers are good!. However, I have recently fallen in love with something different you may want to try: fingerling potatoes!. They are basically baby potatoes and usually come as a mix of red and white potatoes!. I like 'em just baked/broiled, grilled, or sauteed with nothing but salt, pepper, and olive oil!. They don't need any fatty additions like butter, sour cream, or cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you want baked potatoes, Idahos are best
if you want potato salad, or mashed potatoes, use red-skinned ( for anything boiled or sauteed reds are best; and use Garlic, by all means)

baked potato/sour cream and chives
mashed potatoes/same

Actually, I think they're all good!.!.!.probably just depends on how you cook the steak!.

Personally, I'd always liked the little red potatoes, baked or fried with butter, garlic, and parsley!. :PWww@FoodAQ@Com
