Is it okay to cook breakfast sausage and leave it slightly pink in the middle?!

Question: Is it okay to cook breakfast sausage and leave it slightly pink in the middle!?
Answers:
No
for two reasons:
1!. All pork products should be fully cooked
2!. Any chopped or ground meat should be fully cooked!. Bacteria will be on the surface of meat!. For a steak it gets cooked off but in chopped meats the surface gets mixed throughout the meat so you need to cook right to the center always!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NO! Pork should never be pink!. You could get seriously sick!. One time at a restaurant, my dad ate some breakfast sausages that weren't cooked all the way through and ended up with terrible food poisoning!. With the exception of beef, you should always cook meat until you can't see any pink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No -- always cook meat, particularly pork, thoroughly!. Kills any bacteria/parasites in the meat and makes it safe to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's beef sausage, it's okay but pork should be cooked through as well as chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope, you want to make sure it is not pink in the middle!. It needs to be fully cooked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Always cook the meat till there's NO pink inside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
