Answers:
Dried beans and rices become hard and won't cook with AGE!! but it takes about 2 years of sitting in the pantry before they won't cook!!

They expired!?!?!?!? I never heard of an expiration date on dried beans!!! Mine don't have one, even the beans packaged in cello wrap don't have an expiration date!. They do have a sell by date on them, and from this date I keep them maybe another 2 years in a sealed container in the pantry so the ininvited guests (mice) don't nibble on them!.

Then I don't put them in the trash!!! they are good livestock feed! I mix the old beans with the grain for my sheep!

Cooked beans must be stored in the freezer and at that for only about 6 months!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure they will!. I freeze them all the time and reheat them in a crock pot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook them and EAT THEM!!!

OR freeze them, heheheheWww@FoodAQ@Com
