Can you bake banana bread in a cake pan instead of a loaf pan?!
I really want to make banana bread but every time I use a loaf pan it seems to not cook the center but if I leave it in there longer it dries out the outside of the bread so I was wondering if I could use a cake pan!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you can!. My mom does this and it cooks through and is moist!.
You do have to change the length of time that it is cooked and at which temperature!. also you will have to cut and serve it up a bit differently!.!. but it will still satisfy! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, but watch the time, as it will be shorter!.
I have the same prob as you with banana bread - way to solve the problem is once the top and sides are getting browned, put a piece of foil over the loaf pan, and lower the temperature a bit - like to 300, then test it after another 20 min or so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
