I am looking for simple crock pot recipes with few ingredients!. I know you can fix soups and stews, but I was wanting some new ideas!. Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In addition to all the basics you can make chicken, pot roasts, pork chops, and so on!. I've even heard of dessert but I've never made a dessert in the crock pot though!. The first recipe is my fav, the others are just plain good!.
Crock Pot Chicken Salsa Curry
10 chicken thighs-bone in
1 jar of your fav salsa
1/2 onion chopped
1 tablespoon curry (or about 1/2 if you don't like a strong curry taste)
1/2 cup sour cream
Place the chicken in the crock pot!. Mix the onion, curry and salsa!. Pour over the chicken and cook on low for about 6-8 hours!.
When the chicken is done take it out of the crock pot and put on a serving plate!. Add the sour cream and mix well!. Spoon the sauce over the chicken!.
This would go well with rice or cous cous!.

1 lb!. Hamburger
1 Cup Cornflakes
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Small Amount Diced Onion
1 Can Mushroom Soup + 1 Can Water
1!.Mix the meat, corn flakes, onions, and salt and pepper!. Spread into crockpot!.
2!.In a separate bowl mix the soup with the can of water!. Pour over the meat mix and turn on low for about 2-3 hrs!.

2 Cups Water

2!. Cover and cook for 10-12 hours on low or until mixture
is thickened; stirring occasionally!. Stir in vinegar and mustard just before serving!.
3!.Make sandwiches using toasted buns!.

Did you know you can actually bake a coffee cake in a crock pot!? You pour the batter into a coffee can and place it in the crock pot!.!.!.I think you place it down in some water inside the crock pot!.!.!.I'm not sure where that recipe is, but here is another!.
Basil and Artichoke Chicken

Tater Tot Casserole
1 pound hamburger, browned and drained
1 bag Tater Tots
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables - cooked
2 or 3 cans of cream soup (mushroom - celery, take your pick)
Mix the hamburger, 1/2 bag of Tater Tots, cooked veggies, and soup!. Use two cans soup - if it looks dry add another can of soup!. Layer the remaining Tater Tots on top and there you have it!. Bake at 350° for an hour or so, or I put this in my slow cooker and let it go on low for a few hours!.
Serves 4!.
Beef Stroganoff
1 1/2 lbs!. ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg!. egg noodles
salt
pepper
1/2 cup onion
1 can mushrooms
1 can beef broth
Bread
Put ground beef & onion in crockpot!. Add beef broth, combine all ingredients together in crockpot!. Add salt and pepper to taste!.
Let sit for a few hours or overnight!. Boil noodles on stove per package directions!.
Toast bread in toaster!. Put bread on a plate, cover w/noodles & then w/beef mixture!. Enjoy
Crock Pot Honey Baked Ham
4 lb Ham; boneless, fully cooked
1 can Lemon lime soda, 12 oz; -gingerale may also be used
1/4 cup Honey
1/2 tsp Mustard
1/2 tsp Cloves; ground
1/4 tsp Cinnamon; ground
Place ham and soda into crock pot!. If your pot has a rack, you can use it!. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours (high 3 to 4 hours)!. Thirty minutes before serving, combine remaining ingredients, including 3 tbs drippings from bottom of crock pot!. Spread glaze over ham and continue heating!. Let ham stand for 15 minutes before serving
Crockpot Creamed Corn
1 1/4 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels (I've used canned corn, and I'm sure fresh corn would work too!)
1 package fat free cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon white sugar
salt and pepper to taste
In a slow cooker, combine corn, cream cheese, butter, milk, and sugar!. Season with salt and pepper to taste!. Cook on High for 2 to 4 hours, or on Low for 4 to 6 hours!.
3 Vegetable Cheese Bake
10oz frozen pkg broccoli florets,
10oz frozen pkg cauliflower
10oz frozen pkg brussel sprouds
10oz can cream of mushroom
1lb block process cheese spread, cut into slices
Place ingredients in crockpot in order listed!. Cover & cook on
LOW 4 hours!.
HIGH Setting not recommended
Makes 8-10 servings!.
BBQ roast
1 roast
1 bottle of your favorite bbq sauce
1 packet of onion soup mix
Stew Veggies (onion, carrots, potatoes, etc)
Mix together and cook on low for 8 hours!.
BUSY DAY ITALIAN CROCKPOT
4-6 bone-in chicken breast or 2-3 lbs your favorite chicken parts
2 jars Ragu sauce or favorite sauce
1/4 to 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2-3 tablespoons tomato paste (optional)
Your favorite pasta
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours!. Remove chicken - stir in paste for thicker sauce and spoon over pasta!.
Salsa Chicken

6 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
about 2 C salsa
shredded cheddar cheese
cooked rice
Put frozen chicken into crockpot, pour salsa over the top of them!. Cook on med-low all day!. At suppertime, sprinkle with cheddar and serve over cooked rice!.

Grease
Use slow cooker to thaw and raise bread!. It gives it a beautifully brown crusty round loaf!. Generously grease frozen bread loaf!. Place in completely greased baking pan!. Place pan in pot, cover and heat on low 2 to 3 hours, or until bread is thawed and starting to rise!. Turn to high and bake 2 to 3 hours or until it is brown and tests done!.

After about 4 hours on high, add 1 large can sour kraut, some new red potatoes or quartered potatoes, salt, pepper, and brown sugar!. Allow to cook on high for 2-4 more hours until meat and potatoes are completely cooked and everything is good and hot!.

6 black peppercorns
6 cups of water
1 cup baby carrots
1 package refrigerator biscuits (10 – 12)
Place chicken in crock pot and add everything except carrots!. Cook on low for about 8-10 hours!. Remove chicken and de-bone!. Pour broth into large pot on stove and heat until boiling!. Add carrots and cook for 30 minutes!. Thicken broth with cornstarch or flour mixed with cold water!. Tear refrigerator biscuits into 3-4 pieces each and drop into boiling broth, lower heat and cover!. Simmer for about 5 minutes, until biscuits puff up!. Add chicken and carrots, stir, and serve!.
Savory Roast Beef
3-4 lb roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 tb steak sauce (optional)
1 can water
1 package dried Lipton onion soup mix
Place roast in crock pot!. Add steak sauce to top and spread to coat evenly!. Add cream of mushroom soup on top spreading to coat!. Sprinkle onion soup on top and add water!. Cook on low for about 8-10 hours or until meat separates easily!. Serves 4!.
For French Beef dip sandwiches: French Rolls, roast beef, and Au Jus Mix with a little of the drippings from the roast added for dipping!. Horseradish Sauce if you like it!.
Carmelized Pork Carnitas
1? lbs boneless pork butt or shoulder
2 tbs brown sugar, packed
1 tbs tequila (optional)
1 tbs molasses
? tsp salt
? tsp pepper
? tsp cumin
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/3 cup water
Cut pork in 1 inch cubes!. Place in crock-pot and top with all other ingredients!. Cook on low for 8-10 hours!. Remove with slotted spoon and place on cookie sheet and broil until slightly brown on top!. Serves about 10!. Serve with corn tortillas and pico de gallo or salsa!.
Chile Verde
4 lb pork roast (boneless butt or shoulder), cut in chunks
1 large can Ortega chopped green chiles
1 small can Ortega chopped jalapenos
Place pork roast in crock pot!. Add green chiles and jalapenos, but no water!. Cook on high 8-10 hours!. Serve with flour tortillas, beans and mexican rice!.

Durkees fried onion rings
Brown pork chops in a pan place in bottom of crock pot!. Mix milk and soup and pour over the top!. Crock on low ( I don't recall how long, I do it all day) about an hour or so before you are ready add the green beans on top!. If you add them sooner they become too mushy!. 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
some fresh mushrooms cut up
cook lower 7-8 hours
salt and pepper
1 tablesppon or more of tabasco sauce not hot just gives flavor
about 1/2 hour before serving add 1 pint of sour cream

If you like ribs, they are great to do in the crock pot and will be very tender when done!. Brown the meat in a skillet, before putting in the pot!. then put in your favorite bbq sauce!. add enough water to cover the meat and set on low for 6-8 hrs!. I also do ribs with sauerkraut, which makes the ribs tender!. Same proceedure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
