Answers:
I do a quick one just by sauteing the veggies (your onion, pepper, and celery) and garlic in olive oil!. Add some tomato paste--how much is up to your taste and how much sauce you're making, but I usually do about 1 tablespoon for 4 servings of red sauce--and cook for a bit, and then add your liquids!. Season to taste with salt and pepper and your herbs and spices!. I like basil, oregano, and chili flakes!. It's quite simple really, and tastes so much better than the jarred stuff!. If it tastes too acidic, you can add a tiny bit of sugar or honey to it, but I like it tangy so I rarely do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pretty basic, put any ingredients you want into a sauce pan or skillet, I like to use a skillet so I can cook anything like onions, peppers and mushrooms down in a little butter to speed it up, but you can just simmer long enough that everything is tender!. The longer you cook it the better it will be!. also, if there is a bit of a "wang' to the flavor, you can add a couple of tablespoons of cream or sour cream or even a tiny bit of sugar to taste, depending on what you like!. I also have very good luck cooking a piece or two of bacon or sausage with my onions and such for flavor!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook them then!
Dice onion
cook til softened
add garlic and other seasonings
add your tomato stuff
bit of balsamic vinegar I would too
cook til it's cooked!.

If you're adding meat add it after the seasonings, seal it off then add the rest!.
Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com
