I'm with you girl! I hate all that healthy food! Unfortunately, since I've become diabetic and my doctor is after me about having high cholesterol, I've HAD to learn how to eat healthier!. *sigh*
It started by having to cut out sugar!. Fortunately, I found a great sugar substitute that has no after taste and no bad side effects like some artificial sweeteners do!. It's called "Whey Low" and you can order it online!. That was my first step!. Now I bake and cook everything with that instead of sugar!.
Second was cutting down on fats and foods high in cholesterol!. To do that I learned a few tricks!. Replace all butter with those margerines that help reduce cholesterol!. Or even just margarine!. Make sure you always use canola or olive oil in all cooking or baking!. Substitute plain yogurt for sour cream and use whipped egg whites instead of whipped toppings on desserts!.
Learn how to make healthy foods taste good!. I have discovered some great recipes that use a lot of oatmeal!. Oatmeal is a very healthy food!. It's high in fiber and nutrition, reduces cholesterol and oat flour is less carbohydrate rich than regular white flour!. You can use oat flour 1 for 1 in most recipes!. Replace half of the flour in recipes with oat flour!. You can make your own oat flour by putting regular oatmeal in the blender!. There are some great recipes for oatmeal cakes, oatmeal peanut butter cookies, oatmeal pancakes, even oatmeal fake beef jerky!
Most of them taste nothing like oatmeal!.
Here's a good trick for making a low fat cake out of a cake mix!. Take the cake mix, add one can of pumpkin, mix well and bake as directed!. You get a nice moist cake with less fat and no cholesterol from the eggs!. You can do this with a brownie mix as well!.
Veggies can be made to taste better with the right seasonings!. Try to stay away from salad dressings as they are full of fat, but check out the spice aisle in your grocery store!. There are racks full of different spice blends you've probably never tried!. Give the ones called "complete seasoning" or "all seasoning" a chance!. Some of them are really great and make veggies actually taste good! Go beyond your normal comfort zone and try a few fruits and veggies you've never had before!. Ever had lychee nuts!? How about passion fruit!? Tried artichokes!? Arugula!? How about bok choy!? One of my new favorite salad dressings is seasoned salt and white vinegar!. Try it, it's good! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well some healthy food that tastes good in my opinion would have to be: Fish!. It's really good for you and it takes quite nice!. Tomatoes, Onions, Broccoli etc mainly all vegetables are good for you!. Same applies to fruits exp: Apples, Bananas, Blueberries, Cantaloupe, and Watermelon etc!. Water is also a good way to stay fit, water can easily replace all the soda!. Poultry & Lean Meats in moderate portions is also good!. Oatmeal is also fine!.
Hope it helps good luck! =D

Begin by asking yourself general questions: Do I like meat, fish, poultry!? Do I like vegetables!? Do I like legumes and grains!? Once you answer these, then its a matter of testing different spices, ways of cooking and researching through the many different "types" (asian, middle eastern, meditteranean etc!.) Then, its in your hands to get proactive, test, taste and find your food!. Certainly, its out there!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
