Question: How long and at what heat do I grill beef tenderloin about 1!.25 inches thick!.!?
i do have a meat thermometer which i often use for chicken, but i suck at grilling beef!. Any tips are appreciated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use your meat thermometer and take the steak off the grill once it hits 120F-Rare, 125F-Med-Rare, 130 for Med!. 140-Well Done!.

Med!. Rare is usually the most popular temperature to serve beef!. It should take about 3-4 min!. per side!.

It's good that you mastered cooking chicken already, most people usually struggle w/ Chicken!.

also, cover the steak with foil and let is rest on a warm plate for at least 5 min!. It helps the juices redistribute from the middle and the internal temp!. will go up another 5 degrees during this time!.

Check your therm!.'s accuracy by testing it in a cup of ice water!. I forget what the temp should be (something like 22 degrees F)

also, if your hand is burning over the grill, have a little bucket of water to dunk your hand in and you'll be able to keep your hand over the grill for longer!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
