I love this mexican style chicken and rice soup made at Houston's!. I have searched online for a copycat recipe, but haven't found one!. Can anyone help me out!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The other answer is completely wrong!. I was a chef for houston's in atlanta and other recipe is not even close!. I do not work for them anymore but I can tell you if there are nay ex-houston's chefs out there you will not get the recipe!. Sorry!. Try writing to their corporate office!. Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, skin removed, cut into 1-inch pieces
4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes
1 (approx!. 16 oz) jar mild salsa
1 (4 oz) can diced green chile peppers
1 (1 1/4 oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker!. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours!. Serve with warm flour tortillasWww@FoodAQ@Com
