Answers:
Are you talking about "Yoghurt raita" or are you talking about "mint chutney"!? I've seen users confuse it and give me thumbs down when i give appropriate answer!.LOL ! If its the Indian yoghurt- thats raita!. If its a green coloured chutney- Thats a mint sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, you need fresh or dried mint and cucumber, although you could leave the cucumber out!. Mint sauce contains vinegar which would make it sour!. I make Raita fairly often to go with curry!. Here's the recipe:
Mix together chopped cucumber, Fresh or chopped dried mint leaves, salt and Greek yoghurt in a bowl and refrigerate!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

ABSOLUTLY - BUT you dont need the sugar - the proper recipie is with a touch of paprika and cayanne pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, you can use mint jelly also!.
Add a pinch of salt!.
Some add a pinch of chilli or some tamarind paste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That sounds rather vile, doesn't it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
