How do you cook spaghetti?!?!

Question: How do you cook spaghetti!?!!?
Okay - so I'm realllly hungry and I'm CRAVING spaghetti right now, but I'm only 14 and have no clue how to cook!. My mom is asleep [considering that it is 2:22 AM] and so I can't wake her up just to ask her to cook it for me!.!.!.

We do have spaghetti!.!.!. but my mom doesn't let me use the stove when she's not around!. I mean, I've done it before [when cooking ramen noodles - it's the only thing I know how to cook using the stove] and she doesn't seem to get mad about that anymore!.

But I have a feeling she'll be a lot more mad if I try to cook spaghetti, especially if she comes downstairs and catches me!.

Well, since I know how to make ramen - do you think I'd be able to cook the spaghetti!? It looks like it's the same process!.

Now back to the point!. How do you cook spaghetti!? What am I supposed to do, exactly!?

All you have to do is boil the spaghetti pasta for however long it says on the package!. I think it's usually like ten minutes!. Check to see if it's the temperature you like before turning the stove off!. Then do you have a jar of spaghetti sauce!? I assume you're not making this from scratch!. Warm that up, either in the microwave or on the stovetop!. Dump it on the drained noodles, and voila you have easy spaghetti!. Don't forget the parmesan cheese if yo've got it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put around a pint of water in a pot, and bring the water to a boil on the stove!. Add a thumb-sized bunch of spaghetti noodles, more or less depending on how hungry you are!. Cook for eight minutes!. Use a sieve, strainer, cheese grater, or other similar instrument to retain the noodles while you pour off the water!. Dump the noodles onto a plate, and add your choice of butter, cheese, sauce, or whatever!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, for starters make sure you have spaghetti, sauce (preferably pre-made Ragu or something like it), ground beef, a skillet and a large pan for boiling!.

The tricky part is the sauce to noodles ratio, but if it's your first time them mistakes are a given!.

Ground meats are good to start with, just brown them in a sauce pan and when they're cooked well enough add the tomato sauce!. If it's tomato paste then add water measured from the can!. If you want seasonings then put them in, but just stick to the basics and all!.

Put water (warm or hot tap water makes it go quicker) in the large pot about 25% full!. Get it to a boil and put your noodles in it with a splash of olive oil so the noodles don't stick together!. To test the noodles if they're done they should easily cut in half with the side of a fork!. Drain with a colander in the sink and then (if you're me) put them back in the pan and drop the sauce on it so it can all evenly merge!.

Sounds difficult, I know, but it's easy when you've been doing it for a few year, and who knows!.!.!. maybe your mom will appreciate you learning how to do something around the house!?

Just remember to turn everything off when you're done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
