Ok, I was just wondering do people in America REALLY eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches??!
I mean like bread with peanut butter and jelly in it!. Jelly as in flavoured gelatine!? I just find it incredibly hard to believe! I mean like really, jelly in a sandwich!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
yeah, but it's jelly as in crushed grapes with some type of sugar mixed in, not gelatin like jell oWww@FoodAQ@Com
The word "jelly" in other countries means aspic or flavored gelatin!. In America, jelly is a term we use for a sweet, usually fruit based, spread that is like jam but without any fruit pieces in it!.
Yeah, an aspic and peanut butter sandwich does sound disgusting, though!. Not something anyone would enjoy!! : DWww@FoodAQ@Com

YES, we really eat them!. Jelly, as in thickened fruit and juice, stewed down and sweetened, and put into jars!. Peanut Butter, like peanuts crushed into a craemy consistency!. Each spread on a slice of bread, then the bread is put together!. Best washed down w/ a glass of cold milk!. You shoudl try it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I absolutely love them!. But the jelly I use is really fruit preserves, more like jam!. Regular jelly has real fruit juice in it, but no chunks!. The chunks of fruit make it better!
If you've never tried it, then you should! It might sound weird at first, but all the flavors mix together really well! It's a childhood favorite here!Www@FoodAQ@Com
