Well it really all depends on you there my friend, all the other answers are very true to nature!. But this is really on what the person whom seeks this answer really likes!?!? If you are adventures I would try all varieties of combinations on this classic yet American tradition!. We here in Texas like using of course (texas toast) because it is extra thick and very fulfilling in the end!. But be adventuress and expand your taste buds a little ok!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like sour dough bread with cracker barrel white sharp cheddar cheese, that's if you enjoy sharp flavors!.
