Can you make frosting with chocolate pudding?!


Question: Can you make frosting with chocolate pudding!?
if yes, can someone give me a recipe for it!.!.!.thx!.

I am making a cake and i have alot of chocolate pudding in teh cupboard!.!.i was hoping i could make something with it instead of going and buying frosting!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chocolate Frosting - Sugar Free

1 package dream whip (1 envelope)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup skim milk
1 package sugarfree choc!. pudding(2oz)

Blend together skim milk, vanilla, and dream whip (or sugarfree whipped topping mix)!. Beat til stiff!. Add pudding mix and continue to beat til light and fluffy!.

Add more skim milk if too thick!. Use as frosting on lowfat cupcakes using 1T per cupcake!. Can also be used to frost cake or brownies!. 1T = 9cals, 0cholesterol

It kind of depends on what chocolate pudding, you have!?
If it's a whipping type, then yes you could use that, or if it has chocolate that can be melted - then Yes just melt and pour over
You can make a kind of frosting, or topping for your cake with drinking chocolate, by mixing 3- 6 oz with cold water adding it little at time until it's thick enough to spread without running, add more chocolate if too runny!.
Or you could just use hot chocolate powder to dust over the top, by placing it in a sieve and shaking it till the cake is covered

1 (8 ounce) container frozen light whipped topping, thawed

In a mixing bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes!. Fold in whipped topping!. Frost the cake!.

well it depends on what kind of cake!.!.!.i mean, chocolate pudding would be gross on like lemon poppy cake or something!. but i would say just follow the instructions on the box and frost your cake with regular old pudding!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
