Not ideal but so long as it IS cooked all the way through it should be fine!. God knows we have all done it at one time or another havent we!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Been there done that (hospitalisation bit) not nice!.

Herbed roast chicken
1!.5kg whole chicken
1 lemon, halved
2 bay leaves
60g butter, softened
4 large sage leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped chives!.
Preheat oven to 180°C!. Rinse chicken cavity under cold water!. Pat chicken dry inside and out with paper towel!. Season with salt and pepper!.
Squeeze lemon halves over the chicken!. Place lemon halves and bay leaves inside chicken cavity!. Using your fingers, gently lift the chicken skin away from the breast meat on each side, to form 2 pockets!.
Combine butter, sage and chives in a bowl!. Season with salt and pepper!. Gently stuff herb butter under the chicken skin (see note)!. Tie chicken legs together with unwaxed string!. Place in a large, lightly greased roasting pan!. Cover loosely with foil!.
Roast chicken for 30 minutes!. Remove foil!. Baste with pan juices!.
Roast, uncovered, basting occasionally, for a further 40 minutes or until golden and juices run clear when chicken thigh is pierced with a skewer!. Remove from oven!. Cover loosely with foil!. Allow to rest for 10 minutes!. Serve!.
Notes & tips
Pressing herbed butter between the skin and the chicken breast helps flavour the chicken during cooking!. It also bastes the breast meat, keeping it moist and tender, so there's no need to turn the chicken while roasting!.
To make gravy using the pan juices, remove chicken and place roasting pan over medium heat!. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons flour!. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes!. Add 2 cups boiling water, stirring constantly!. Cook until gravy reaches desired consistency

If you are in a rush you must still make sure you cook the chicken all the way through!.

Have a microwave!? You can defrost and even pre-cook it a bit in that which should save you some time!. Otherwise, if you don't need to cook it and take it with you, put it in a crock pot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

neh i shouldnt worry much as its only frozen water cooking will melt it and then the chicken will cook as long as its cooked thoroughlly shouldnt be a problemWww@FoodAQ@Com
