Question: I want to bake salmon(about a few inches thick), how long and what temperature should I put it on!?
Answers:
I've never baked salmon (we always BBQ it), but I heard that 375 for 10 min!. per INCH of the thickness of the salmon is right!. In foil, with sliced lemons, onions and fresh dill on the bottom and on top; sealed tightly!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whole Baked King Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

1- 5 lb!. whole salmon
1 ? cups of ketchup
2 chopped green onion
1 can of green chilies
? cup white wine vinegar
2 cloves of garlic, minced
salt & pepper to taste
2 tsp!. red chili pepper
2 tbsp Tabasco sauce Fresh-Frozen King



Recipe Preparation:

Remove head, tail and guts from fish!. Salt and pepper fish both inside and out!. Stuff the fish with ? of the green onions and ? of the minced garlic!. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients!. Add a tablespoon or two of the mixture inside the salmon and pour remaining mixture over outside of fish!. Bake fish in a greased baking dish at 325 degrees for approximately 3 hours (or until salmon becomes flaky), baste the fish with sauce occasionally!. Serves 4-6!.

Baked Keta Steaks

Recipe Ingredients:

4-6 salmon steaks
1 bottle of zesty Italian salad dressing
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp!. lemon juice
6 oz!. sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp!. butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped chives Fresh-Frozen Keta



Recipe Preparation:

In a large bowl or zip lock bag combine salmon steaks, salad dressing and lemon juice!. Let steaks marinate in mixture for at least 1 hour!. When ready to cook, remove steaks from container and place in a large (13x9x2) buttered baking dish!. Mix remaining water with left over marinade, add mushrooms and pour into baking dish!. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 20 minutes at 350 degrees!. After 20 minutes of cooking remove foil and sprinkle with chives and parmesan cheese, continue baking for additional 10 minutes (uncovered)!. Serves 4-6!.

Baked Lemon Keta

Recipe Ingredients:

1 whole side of wild salmon
Lemon pepper
1 Lemon, thinly sliced
Garlic powder
1 white onion, thinly sliced
Parsley
Fresh-Frozen Keta



Recipe Preparation:

Skin the wild salmon if not already done, and cut the fillet into 3” wide pieces!. Tear off a piece of tinfoil 8-12 inches long and place the salmon on the tinfoil!. Lightly sprinkle the Lemon Pepper and Garlic powder on the salmon!. Slice the lemon and the onion into very thin slices and arrange on top of the salmon at this time also place the parsley on the salmon for decoration!. Wrap the salmon with the tinfoil and seal the seams very well!. Repeat for the remainder of the salmon!. Preheat oven to 350!. Place the tinfoil wrapped salmon into the oven on a cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the opaque color in the center is barely visible!. Serves 3-4!.

About fifteen to twenty minutes on 350 degrees should do it just fine!. Some like their Salmon raw a bit on the inside, I don't!. I like mine cooked through yet still juicy!. If you cook it too long it gets dry!.

Make a simple marinade for it!. Like maybe Bourbon Salmon!. Mix some light sodium soy sauce, light brown sugar and a pinch or two of garlic powder, marinate it for about an hour or two!. If you have Bourbon add a bit to it!. But with out the Bourbon you get the same experience!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
