Do a "make your own burito buffet!."
It's fun and friendly!. Just make a big chilli (google a recipe - it's easy) and some refried beans (again - google)!. Bring the chilli to the table in a big bowl and the beans to the table in a big bowl!. also bring a plate of warmed tortilla wraps, a bowl of nachos, a big bowl of salad, a small bowl of salsa and a bowl of greated cheese!. Let people serve themselves!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are not experienced in the kitchen how about preparing the dinner the night before so you have time to get everything together and you won't be stressed!.
Meatloaf
Potatoes baked scooped seasoned and stuffed back into the skins!.
Tossed salad
Italian or French bread
Brownie mix and vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and nuts whipped topping
Pitcher of tea or whatever drink you like
Meatloaf
ground beef 3 pounds
eggs 2
parsley 1/3 cup washed and chopped fresh
breadcrumbs 2 cups
1/2 cup milk
Worcestershire sauce 3 tablespoons
salt and pepper 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
garlic clove 1 minced
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 small can green chiles mild found in the Mexican food isle (optional)
1/3 cup tomato ketchup
In a large mixing bowl place meat and the other ingredients and mix gently but thoroughly the meat should be light and moist so if it's too stiff add more milk!. Shape meatloaf into shape like a football and place on baking sheet!. Sprinkle with all purpose flour that you mix paprika spice with!. This will help form a crust and it will brown nicely!. Place in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to an hour!. Stick a knife in the center and if juices run clear it's done!. When it's done remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before slicing!. Cover with aluminum foil until ready to serve!.
You can mix up the meatloaf the night before and bake it the next day!.
Buy enough large baking potatoes depending on how many are being served!. This is for 4 servings!.
Wash and bake the potatoes in the oven until fork tender!.
Scoop out the potato and leave the skin whole like a boat!.
In a mixing bowl place the potato, 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon salt , dash of black pepper, 1 cup cheddar cheese grated, 1 beaten egg, 1/2 cup parsley and enough milk for the right consistency like mashed potatoes!. the sour cream might be enough and no extra liquid is needed!. After you bake and stuff the potatoes place on baking sheet and bake until heated through!. You can do this the night before and place in oven the day you want to serve it!.
Tossed Salad
Simple salad of Tomato, onion, green pepper mixed lettuces
your choice of dressing!. Wash the greens and dry them well place in plastic bag until serving time!. Day of dinner chop the other veggies and place in sealed container!. Combine right before salad is served!.
Italian or French bread
buy store bought bread and slice all of it!.
melt 1 stick butter or margarine add same amount of olive oil
add 1 garlic clove halved!. Heat on medium heat until it's bubbling then remove garlic!. Paint the loaves of bread and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese!. Wrap in foil!. and refrigerate until serving time!. Place in oven wrapped in foil and heat until bread is toasty hot and smells wonderful!.
If you don't have time to bake your own brownies get a box mix they are easy and great to fix in a short time!.
Bake and let cool, cut into squares and place in serving dishes top with vanilla ice cream, walnuts, pecans, choc!. chips, choc!. syrup, caramel syrup, coconut, whipped topping and a cherry!. Let each person design their own brownie dessert!.
About the meatloaf!.!.!.!.some like a brown gravy and others like a red sauce to go with it!. Buy some already made sauces to make life easier!. One suggestion is Heinz chile sauce (not the one for seafood) the one that says "chile sauce" !. It's great with beef!. Or saute some mushrooms or onions and add them to already canned beef gravy!. There are envelopes of gravy also you can buy!. They are cheap at the dollar store!. But sauteed onions or mushrooms make the sauce extra special good!.
Beverage!.!.!.!.iced tea or iced water with dinner and coffee with dessert or whatever you have on hand!.

easy- Peasy!. Take one whole chicken and remove the giblets and neck from the cavity!. Insert a lemon cut into quarters plus some whole cloves of garlic!. Put a few cloves of garlic and thin lemon slices under the skin on the breast of the chicken smear the outside of the chicken with butter or vegetable oil and then salt and pepper the bird!. Cook in a pre-heated 350 degree oven oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes!. Have some nice baking potatos that are oiled and salted and peppered on the other rack and serve with a bagged salad with store bought salad dressing!. Add a killer dessert and maybe some bread with butter!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
