Hey there, so I'm making lasagna tonight, I"m changing the beef for chicken, to make it healthier, now, I'm just a beginning cook/learning to cook, and thus far I'm doing well, I can tell if normal chicken is done, but how do I tell if ground chicken is done!? Thanks1Www@FoodAQ@Com

Once there's no more pink!. Break up some of the larger chunks to check the inside after a few minutes of cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Good lasagna recipes require the meat to cook in the sauce, and for the sauce to simmmer!. If you simmer the sauce (boiling) for 15-20 minutes while you are say, cooking noodles, shredding the motzarella and mixing ricotta and parmesan!.!.!.it will cook during that time!. Just don't add the Tomato sauce (or paste) to it until AFTER it appears browned with the onions and garlic!.
(I have a great truly italian - recipe that calls for 1/2 lb meat!.!.!.I use gr!. turkey and 1 lb motzarella!. If you want to disguise the chicken meat, you should shake a little bit of worchestershire sauce into the meat before you make the sauce!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

your lasagna sounds very nice i never tried that
but i need to know what you mean by ground chicken is it just chicken that you are cooking and pulling off chicken or is it actually ground like chopped meat
if it is ground then you can put it in a pan and sautee it you will see the color darken and will become dry when cooked (no liquidin pan ) Www@FoodAQ@Com
