What's the difference between frosting and icing?!


Question: What's the difference between frosting and icing!?
are they essentially the same thing and just 2 different names!? i thought frosting was creamier than icing, but idk!.

Frosting usually is thinner and creamier, but the word frosting can also be applied to things like a light sprinkling of sugar or powder onto something!. Icing is usually sets more solid and is nicer :DWww@FoodAQ@Com
