Does anyone have any good Crock Pot Chili Recipes?!
I recently dug out my old crock pot and am thinking about making some homemade chili!.
The last time I attempted it, it came out like a mushy watery and bland soup with some beans on the bottom!.
I'm sure I could google up some recipes but want to see what you guys have to share first - if you're willing to share your secrets!
I love hot & spicy but unfortunately the husband and kids don't!. So it needs to be something on the mild side!.
Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Best crock pot chili recipe EVER!!!:
2 pounds ground meat (brown in a skillet first)
2 cans light red beans
2 cans dark red beans
2 cans diced tomatos
1 can chopped green chilis
2 cups chopped onion
2 cups chopped bell pepper
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
as much chili powder as you like
AND the secret ingredient ***SHHHHHHH**** don't tell anyone :D

I know it sounds weird, but this is fantastic chili, just dump everything in the crockpot and that's it, the longer it cooks at a lower temperature, the better it isWww@FoodAQ@Com

I always make chili in the crock pot!. I buy:
3 cans of mild chili beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 lb of ground beef
chili powder
onion powder
2 large cans of tomato puree or sauce
Cook the ground beef, add all the other ingredients and mix!. Then cook it on low all day long (I usually start cooking at around 11 am to have it ready for dinner at 6)!. It's always been very good and never too thin! Good luck!
*also, add the chili and onion powder to taste!.!.!. I don't like spicy chili, but my husband does so I add some to make it kind of in between!. And I don't like cooked onions so the onion powder works great!Www@FoodAQ@Com
