Can you freeze fresh basil and cilantro? If so, for how long?!

Question: Can you freeze fresh basil and cilantro!? If so, for how long!?
Answers:
Yes -- it sure saves having to keep buying cilantro each time you only need 7 stalks! You might consider freezing the cilantro in small, usable bunches so you can pull what you need from the freezer and leave the rest frozen!.

Yep!.!.!.but I chop mine up and put it in ice cube trays with water!.!.!.it keeps forever that way!. When you need to add some to spag or something just drop it in or thaw it out on paper towels!. You can take it out of the trays and put the cubes in a zip lock bag!

If you you keep it in any type of baggie or a zip lock bag, they stay fresh for about 3 to 4 months!. Anytime you need some just cut it off!
