Can u make fried chicken with butter instead of oil!?!?!? HELP!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
No!. It burns at too low of a temperature!. Use oil or, better yet, Crisco shortening!. About 1/2 to 3/4 inch in a skillet, heated to 350 degrees F!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, the butter will burn, you can add butter to the oil that you fry in just to add the flavor, or you can use butter flavored shortening (Crisco)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make "oven fried" chicken with butter instead of oil!. I have made it before and it always tastes yummy!
