Casserole issue HELP FOR DINNER good or bad idea?!
im making up a casserole but instead of making meat im thinking of buying a rotisserie chicken and shredding it up so it can be the meat in my casserole!. MY QUESTION IS i want the meat to be flavored with maybe a hot sauce or curry powder, how would i go about doing that!?!? Should i A) fry oil and put curry powder in there then add the meaat OR should i B) soak the meat in a curry and water n such marinade, OR should i do C) which is ur suggestion!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Is the meat cooked or not!? If it isn't I would suggest putting the spices together with some lemon or orange juice along with the chicken in a bag, then after at least a few hours of marinading you can fry it in the oil until its just done and add it to your casserole, just make sure to cut the chicken into uniform pieces so it cooks evenly!. If the meat is already cooked, just add the spices and chicken directly into the casserole!. It should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My Mom used to make a great leftover chicken "divan"!. layer the cooked chicken, sliced ham, and brocolli in a casserole dish, top with mayo mixed with curry powder and bake for 30 minutes at 35o degrees!. Enjoy! Www@FoodAQ@Com
