Can phyllo pastry be substituted for puff pastry?!

Question: Can phyllo pastry be substituted for puff pastry!?
Answers:
I think that you should be able to substitute phyllo for the puffed pastry!. I would recommend using 10 sheets of phyllo pastry, 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter, melted!.

Puff pastry dough and phyllo dough are very different and, if used interchangeably, will yield different results!. Greek baklava made from puff pastry instead of phyllo, for example, would not be the same…whereas an apple turnover made with either dough would be more acceptable!. It's best to become familiar with each dough by using it for its intended purpose before you begin experimenting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In some case, like struedel, napoleons and certain others were the filling is cooked or not to runny, phyllo tends to burst if it is heated to hot or the center is to liquid and boils, thing like baklava are less liquid, I have used them when I was a chef for spanakopita and other greek style appetizers, ones with goat cheese and some dessert ones with other fruits!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
