Question: Is drinking semi sweet decaf iced tea going to be just as fattening as soda!?
I asked this in the drink section with NO luck!.!.I figured you could help over here :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
actually soda contains alot of fattening ingredients such as carbonation and corn syrup!.if you are adding enough sugar to your tea to make it sweet it is still less fattening than soda!.and the natural granulated sugar is actually healthier for you than the high frutose corn syrup Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sugar is sugar whether it is in ice tea or soda so check the amount of grams on each of the labels!. You would be better off brewing homemade tea and add fresh squeezed lemon or orange juice to it, cool completely then refrigerate!. I would stay away from artificial sweetners because they have too many chemicals and a lot of controversy behind it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Barely sweet is definitely subjective!. Unless you give me the exact recipe I cannot answer this!.

Try to substitute SPlenda or Nutrasweet for the sugar!. That will definitely have fewer calories than sugar-sweetened soda!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not if you semi-sweeten it with a sugar substitute like Splenda!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

neither soda nor tea contain fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

oh no, defenitely notWww@FoodAQ@Com
