Do you have any condiments at all - you know - spices, garlic, salt, pepper anything like that!?
Grill the gammon that has been rubbed with some garlic or has it finely sliced on top, a knob of butter, and sprinkle on a little bit of cumin or garam masala - these can be bought in supermarkets for about £1 a jar and come in useful for all sorts of things!.
Grill the pineapple separately and place on top after the steak has been grilled!.
Serve with either a salad or potatoes or couscous - but not both!.
You can also make up a sauce of coconut cream, garlic and wholegrain mustard, heat it in the pan, simmer for five minutes and then pour over the griddled gammon steak!.
They are actually just yummy on their own too!. You can also grill some apple wedges and serve that instead of the pineapple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
