I make pork bbq sandwiches!. Put a pork roast in the crock pot w/ about a cup of water and 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar!. Stick a few cloves in the roast if you like and slice up an onion!. Cook on low all day and when you get home take it out of the cooker!. Shred it w/ 2 forks and remove what you can of the cloves!. Add it back to the cooker w/ a bottle of bbq sauce and let it cook for a few more minutes so all the flavors meld together!. Serve on hamburger buns!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Chicken and Dumplings
1 whole chicken
1 bay leaf
2 tsp garlic salt
6 black peppercorns
6 cups of water
1 cup baby carrots
1 package refrigerator biscuits (10 – 12)
Place chicken in crock pot and add everything except carrots!. Cook on low for about 8-10 hours!. Remove chicken and de-bone!. Pour broth into large pot on stove and heat until boiling!. Add carrots and cook for 30 minutes!. Thicken broth with cornstarch or flour mixed with cold water!. Tear refrigerator biscuits into 3-4 pieces each and drop into boiling broth, lower heat and cover!. Simmer for about 5 minutes, until biscuits puff up!. Add chicken and carrots, stir, and serve!.
Savory Roast Beef
3-4 lb roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 tb steak sauce (optional)
1 can water
1 package dried Lipton onion soup mix
1 cup each cut up carrots and potatoes (optional)
Place roast in crock pot!. Add steak sauce to top and spread to coat evenly!. Add cream of mushroom soup on top spreading to coat!. Sprinkle onion soup on top and add water!. Cook on low for about 8-10 hours or until meat separates easily!. Add vegetables for the last 2-3 hours of cooking!. Serves 4!.
For French Beef dip sandwiches: French Rolls, roast beef, and Au Jus Mix with a little of the drippings from the roast added for dipping!. Horseradish Sauce if you like it!.

1 teaspoon Worcestershire
sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups beef broth
3 potatoes, diced
4 carrots, sliced
1 stalk celery, chopped
DIRECTIONS:
1!. Place meat in slow cooker!. In a small bowl mix together the flour, salt, and pepper; pour over meat, and stir to coat meat with flour mixture!. Stir in the garlic, bay leaf, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, onion, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery!.
2!. Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours!.

1 1/2 pounds chicken leg meat
3/4 pound small fresh button mushrooms
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 cups pearl onions
2 large carrots, coarsely chopped
2 1/4 cups frozen green peas, thawed
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl stir together evaporated milk and flour until smooth!. Place chicken, mushrooms, potatoes, onions, carrots and peas in slow cooker!. Pour in milk mixture and broth!. My favorite is White Chili!. You cut up boneless pork chops into 1-inch cubes, dust with seasoned flour and brown them!. Put them in the crock pot with a can of white beans (rinsed), about 2 cups of chicken broth, tsp!. of cumin, tsp!. of salt, pepper to taste, and about 1/2 of a sweet onion, diced and sauteed until translucent!. Stir it together and set it!.
As far as veggies go, I prefer to cook them as I set the table, so they're fresher tasting!. If they go all day long, they can tend to go to mush!. I guess, though, it just depends on what you prefer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

love cottage roll!!.if you don,t know what that is its, simply a brine cured pork shoulder with the bones removed of course!.!.simmer all day long with carrots onions garlic!.dont serve these with the meal but rather use for your stock the next day to make a split pea soup Www@FoodAQ@Com
