Question: Is peanut butter okay for maintaing your weight!?
Okay so recently i have lost 24 pounds, and now I'm just working on maintaining it!. I love peanut butter, and cut it out completely during my weight loss, but now i want to re-introduce it!. How much peanut butter should i be eating a day!? Any brands you could recommend for a healthier benefit!? THANKS!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
just don't eat it with bread or anything else!. it's an awesome source of protein!

I just lost a lot of weight too!. I also love peanut butter and just go get a spoonfull of it when I crave it!.

Pay attention to the serving size on the label!.!.!.

don't have a preferred brandWww@FoodAQ@Com

Peanut butter is very fattening because it is so full of fats and the ground peanuts make it a very concentrated form of calories!. You can still eat it, just make sure that you aren't eating it as a snack or instead of vegetables!. If you replace a few teaspoons of peanut butter for a few teaspoons of other fats you would be eating instead plus a serving of meat, you shouldn't gain back any of the weight you lost!. For example, a peanut butter sandwich is just as healthy an alternative for lunch as a hamburger, but you're going to gain weight if you're eating peanut butter crackers instead of carrot sticks in front of the TV in the evenings!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have gotten great answer so far! Kudos to all who have answered!. However, you should be eating only an "ALL NATURAL" peanut butter, the kind with the oil floating on top and needs mixing!. The reason you want all natural is because it doesn't contain HYDROGENATED oils or SUGAR like conventional peanut butter like Jiffy or Peter Pan brands!.

I really like Smucker's All Natural smooth peanut butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't eat very much peanut butter at all because it is one of the fattiest foods there is!. I am currently on a weight gain program because i am severely underweight and peanut butter is one of the foods my doctor suggested to me because it has so many calories!. If you are goig t get it, try to find something reduced fat and don't have very much at allWww@FoodAQ@Com

Peanut butter is kind of fattening and caloric, but it has the good kind of fat!. In small does, anything fattening can be ok for maintaining your weight!. The trick is not to gorge on anything, so don't eat more than a couple tablespoons a day!. :-) Www@FoodAQ@Com
