I have some corn tortillas from walmart, what can I make with them?!
Answers:
I love making a sort of rolled up cheese quesadilla with corn tortillas!. You can add other ingredients if you like but heres what I do!.
On a heavy cast iron griddle or in a cast iron skillet over low heat very lightly butter the tortilla and place on the cook surface, butter side down, heat 45 seconds and lightly butter top site of tortilla!. Turn over and and add cheese over the tortilla, just a couple Tbs!. When the cheese melts and the tortilla just starts to crisp up roll up into a roll and place on a plate to cool slightly before eating!. Repeat
you can also to the same thing to a tortilla but make it a little crisp(do not roll up) then, cook an egg any way you prefer and place it on top of the cheese!. Top with a little sour cream and or salsa for a very simple version of huevos rancheros!.
cut into wedges and deep fry in 1" oil to make your own tortilla chips!.
steam to soften and fill with your favorite leftovers and top with enchilada sauce!. bake 30 to 45 minutes for simple enchiladas!.
Make a Mexican type of lasagna (old style enchiladas) put sauce on the bottom of a cast iron skillet, sprinkle with cheese and ground beef or shredded pork!. spoon a little sauce over meat and repeat with 2 more layers ending with a tortilla then cheese!. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Enchiladas ~ Yum!!
Corn tortillas make great beef or chicken tacos - if you don't want to make them very complicated, just add 3 simple ingredients: your meat, shredded cheese and enchilada sauce!. Throw some onions in the mix for added flavor!. Layer it and cook at 350 until cheese is bubbly!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
