sounds like an ambrosia salad to me add another fruit!. It all depends on your taste buds what you like and what your family likes!. Go with what your family likes first, if you have kids ask what they would like in there salad!. Always go with the kids you can never loose if you ask kids first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make your own version of an ambrosia salad recipe by mixing any variety of cut up fruit with a creamy type of dressing!. It may not qualify as a bonified "ambrosia fruit salad" in some peoples opinion but if it tastes good, enjoy it and call it what you like!.
Obviously you don't have to use canned fruit, I made these recipes with convenience in mind!. If you like to chop up fresh fruit you have many more ingredient options to choose from!. Here are some popular ones!.!.!.oh and don't forget the miniature marshmellows!.

1-Fruits

Oranges of course-any kind
Coconut
Pineapple
Banana
Apples/Pears
Grapes/Raisins
Cherries
Berries-any kind
Cantelope
Honeydew
Peaches
Nectarines


2-Dressings

Sour cream(full,1-2%, non fat)
Yogurt(full,1-2%, non fat, flavoured)
Whipped cream
Dream Whip or similar product-powdered or frozen
Instant pudding-Vanilla or Pistachio for example!.
Instant jello-see above



3-Nuts & Seeds

Pecans
walnuts
cashews
Pistachios
Sunflower seeds
Pumpkin seeds
