Not measure for measure!

For each cup of white all-purpose flour, you can often substitute 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour plus 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour!.

Substituting equal amounts of whole wheat flour for all-purpose flour doesn't work as well!. The resulting product is likely to have less volume and a coarser texture!.

Yes it does, use about a 1/4 cup less flour and only use butter, not margarine, or they will turn out like bricks!. also cooking time is shortened to about 8 minutes, instead of ten, as the flour will make them brown quicker!.

also if you add about a 1/3 of a cup of wheat germ to the batter, it will give it a little bit more sweetness, as the flour takes that sweetness away!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It won't taste the same but it would still taste fine!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think it would change the taste that much!. Try it! It will be a healthier choice!.

I hope they taste great! Www@FoodAQ@Com

It shouldn't do!. If you are worried then why not use a different recipe!? Hope that helped :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

no it would actually be healthier :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
