How long can uncooked chicken be left in the fridge?!

Question: How long can uncooked chicken be left in the fridge!?
I bought a package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts last Thursday on sale!. I put them into the fridge immediately & have opened the package to use 2 of the 6 breasts for meals!. I was going to make the 2 more tomorrow or Saturday, but am hesitant!. Will they be too old to cook by then!? I'll throw them out if so without hesitation!. They don't have a funny odor or color to them!. They look fresh still & slightly like chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I get a little paranoid about meat being in the refrigerator more than three days, but it comes from years of being employed in a hospital kitchen where anything that wasn't used in 3 days had to be thrown out!. If I'm not going to use it by the third day I freeze it or cook it and put put the cooked in the freezer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use things past the time alloted all the time!.

Make sure you cook it all the way through!. I

I would say not more than a couple maybe 3 days thawed out!.

don't forget you can cook them and freeze them if you can't eat them right away!.

Be safe :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!.!.!.well even if you refrigerator is really cold chicken doesn't keep that well!. YOu may be ok but why chance it!? Throw them in the freezer!. It's easy enough to take them out when you want them to thaw!.

'slightly like chicken"!.!.!.lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

2-5 days but not too long then it will rot so i prefer in the freezer if your not using it in 2 weeks or so *always check the expire date before buying anything* Www@FoodAQ@Com

3-5 days tops is all before it will start to smellWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would not take a chance on becoming sick!. "When in doubt, throw it out"!.
