We always use water for our pancakes and they turn out great! Try making an experimental batch like enough for 1 pancake and taste it to see!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you have creme!? Even using like coffee creamer or the kind from milk would be okay or even powered milk!.!.!. some come out fine with water but I dunno!.!.!. it might taste funny!. Try adding some vanilla, or butter might be okay XD cause they always make that stuff buttermilk flavored!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe you have canned milk in your cupboard!. Or dry milk in a box, which mixes with water!. You need the milk to hold it together!. I have tried things with water, and all you have left in pancakes, is flour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it should be fine to use water!.!.!.if you want them melt-in-your mouth yummy, try adding a tablespoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of baking powder, and 1 1/2 tsp!. vanilla (measurements approximate)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it says like "Buttermilk Complete", then you are suppose to use water!. Look on the box, and read it!. I have used soy milk, when I didn't have regular milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It can work, but they wont taste the same as if you used milk or buttermilk!. They will come out and be edible!.!.!. just not taste as good as regular pancakes!. Just dont make too many incase you dont like them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
