It sounds a little over-powering; here's another idea from Kraft!.
Pre-heat oven to 400F!.
Place 3 shallow dishes, with flour, beaten egg white, &
1 finely crumbled Post Shredded Wheat biscuit!.
Dip a boneless, skinless, chicken breast, in each in turn, both sides!.
Place in shallow baking pan, bake 20 minutes until cooked (170F)!.
Sprinkle with shredded Mozzarella, bake 3-5 minutes until melted!.
Serve with spaghetti & tomato sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salutations,
It sounds like it would add a nice bit of flavor, but I am not sure it would provide the right amount of crust!. You might want to add this to a breading, for additional flavor!. Have you ever tried Panko!? these are a style of bread crumbs from Japan!. I think you'll love the texture, and the onions will perk it up a bit!. CheersWww@FoodAQ@Com

If "French's Onions" are a dried onion flake or powder I would be concern they could burn and give your chicken that burnt onion taste!.

I would use it with breadcrumbs, or for a change, use stuffing mix!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You probably want to mix the onions with bread crumbs!. The straight onions will probably burn too easily due to the high sugar content!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have never tried it but I have seen the recipe and it sounds delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds good!. never tried though

ever try dipping chicken into crushed up captain crunch cereal!?!? its so good!Www@FoodAQ@Com
