Can you use noodles in a casserole that calls for rice?!

Question: Can you use noodles in a casserole that calls for rice!?
My son hates rice (tastes just like pasta, I don't get it either) but he will eat noodles!. Can I substitute the rice for noodles without having consistency issues!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Sure why not! Try smaller noodles, rather than Spaghetti or soemthing!.

I would start by trying Orzo!. It is a rice shaped pasta, a little bigger than long-grain rice, and I think it would work well, and he might like it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try using very tiny shaped pasta!. You can usually find some in boxes or packages that are about the size of the letters in alphabet soup!. If you can't find them, use the smallest macaroni or shells that you can find!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure no problem!. If needed just adjust the cooking time to make sure the pasta is tender!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
