Is there any possible way I can save my cooking nightmare?!

Question: Is there any possible way I can save my cooking nightmare!?
I just reminded myself yet again why I should not be allowed anywhere near cooking utensils!. :)

So we're looking at, say, about 20x the amount of garlic you were supposed to add, and I now have a large amount of inedible goop!. It's probably really healthy for you, the problem is I couldn't manage more than a bite of it on bread, even with a huge mound of ketchup!. I was supposed to bake it but I was missing some ingredients so it wouldn't work out, so I'd at least like to eat it as a spread!.

Is there anything I can use to combat the garlic-ness!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Lemon is very sociable with garlic!. So I would recommend trying some lemon juice in it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Is it just garlic or was there some other stuff in there!? If it's just garlic, you have yourself some nice garlic paste!. Just add a bit to pasta sauce!. Mix some of it with butter, spread on bread and bake for garlic bread, or spread the butter mixture on fish with some lemon and bake, you can do the same for chicken!. You can put some of the garlic paste in a tub of cream cheese with artichoke hearts and have a nice spread or dip!. Use your garlic "goop" with any recipe that calls for garlic!. The possibilities are endless!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm trying to picture the original "recipe"!. What was it!? Probably can't take out the garlic taste though, unless you want to 20x the whole recipe :)

Edit: I just saw your recipe!. :) So you added 4 garlic bulbs rather than 4 garlic cloves!? Ya!.!.!.there is no way to fix that!. Btw: I know you couldn't find the Seitan, but did you google it and see what it looks like!? Ewwww!.!.!.that stuff looks gross! I think your recipe was better off without it!.!.!.probably would've been fab if it had the right amount of garlic :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can gather up some small baby food jars and freeze portions and then as you need some form of garlic spice you have it on hand and you can keep it in the fridge after you thaw it out for a while for other recipes Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't know what else is in there, but if you want to use it as a spread maybe add mascarpone cheese, that will add creaminess and tone down the garlic some!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you had told us exactly what it was, we could probably offer more specific help!. My only thought is to make 2-3 more batches of it w/ NO garlic, then combine all the batches together!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If the garlic is that strong!.!.!.no

You really cant *mute* the garlic, sorry babe!

ADD: I'm guessing you attempted at the "Spinach Nuggets" from earlier!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lots of parsely or salt - that's all I can suggests!!

D'oh Judge, what you like my girl!?!? :P I have finally found someone as bad as me! ;)

Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd mush it up with some cooked chick peas and roasted red pepper to make a spread for crackers, bread or a dip for tortilla chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sorry Dom, if it's THAT bad then I don't think you can do anything Www@FoodAQ@Com

What was it supposed to be!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

What else is in there!? Maybe you could just make it into a big batch of spaghetti sauceWww@FoodAQ@Com

First what were you trying to make!? Without knowing what it was supposed to be I don't think anyone can really help you , but for right now just put it in sandwich bags and freeze it, if it has things like onions, celery the stuff you'd find in spaghetti sauce , just find a good cook for help , mom's a good place to start !.But don't throw it away everything can be saved and used else were, And don't be scared to cook , just take a few courses and buy some books , besides some of the est chefs were lousy cooks when they first stated, just think of Jamie Oliver , Gordon Ramsey , Kat Corra!. just to name a few Good luck and keep tryingWww@FoodAQ@Com
