What is a good dessert?!


Question: What is a good dessert!?
I really want to make an excellent dessert for my parents on saturday!.!.!.I was thinking of a "banana" flambe!.!.!.bananas with a rum sauce over vanilla ice cream!.!.!.is rum a good liquor choice or would brandy be better!? If this is not a good dessert, what would be!?!.!.!.yes I am young, but I am very talented at cooking and can handle anything!.!.!.please ideas!!!! (what is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING dinner to make as well!?)

Bars
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 medium)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 cup Gold Medal? all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream Cheese Frosting
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar


1!. Heat oven to 350°F!. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with shortening!. In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, bananas, oil and eggs with spoon!. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt!. Spread in pan!.
2!. Bake bars 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean!. Cool completely, about 1 hour!.
3!. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix cream cheese, butter and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until blended!. Gradually beat in powdered sugar with spoon, scraping bowl occasionally, until smooth and spreadable!.
4!. Spread cooled bars with Cream Cheese Frosting!. For bars, cut into 6 row by 4 rows!. Store covered in refrigerator

16 servings, one slice each1-3/4 cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted 1-1/4 cups sugar, divided 3 pkg!. (8 oz!. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened 1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream 2 tsp!. vanilla 3 eggs 1 can (21 oz!.) cherry pie filling PREHEAT oven to 350°F if using a silver 8- or 9-inch springform pan (or to 325°F if using a dark nonstick 8- or 9-inch springform pan)!. Mix graham cracker crumbs, margarine and 1/4 cup of the sugar!. Press firmly onto bottom and 2-1/2 inches up side of pan; set aside!.

BEAT cream cheese and the remaining 1 cup sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended!. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well!. Add eggs, one at a time, beating on low speed after each addition just until blended!. Pour into crust!.

BAKE 1 hour to 1 hour 10 min!. or until center is almost set!. Turn oven off!. Open oven door slightly!. Let cheesecake set in oven 1 hour!. Remove cheesecake from oven; cool completely!. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight!. Loosen cheesecake from rim of pan; remove rim!. Top cheesecake with pie filling just before serving!. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator!.

Beehive Peaches
4 peaches
pie crust for 2 pies
1 stick butter
1 egg
2 cup powdered sugar
1tsp Almond extract
Nutmeg

clean and dry peaches and set aside
Lay out pie crust and slice into 1 inch strips
Wrap each peach with strips of pie crust!. from bottom up!.!.to resemble a bee hive!.!.!.bake for 40 mins at 375
While the peaches or cooking combine melted butter ,egg, sugar,almond extract and nutmeg to taste!.
When peaches are done remove each to a small bowl!.!.!.pour sauce over each peach and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
