Question: Anyone know good recipes for one!?
i love to cook but my family likes it if i try it first before i cook it for them!. so if you know any recipes it would be great!. they can be simple or they can be extremely difficult, it doesn't matter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

CHICKEN ALFREDO
6 servings!.

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
3/4 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper, to taste
1 lb fettucine

Heat oil in a 10 inch skillet!. Cut chicken breast into strips!. Add salt and pepper!. Fry on medium heat until cooked through!.

Sauce:

Melt butter in saucepan; add cream and cheese!. cook over low heat, stirring constantly!. Do not boil!.

Cook fettucine in 3 quarts boiling water!. Mix chicken and Alfredo sauce together!. Drain noodles!. Put sauce and chicken over noodles!.

CHICKEN DIVAN

Split 3 large chicken breasts!. Bake chicken for 30 minutes!. Cook 3 boxes of frozen broccoli!. Set aside!.

DIVAN SAUCE:

3 tbsp!. butter
3 tbsp!. flour
1 1/2 c!. milk
3/4 c!. mayonnaise
2 tsp!. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp!. nutmeg
4 tbsp!. cooking sherry
3/4 c!. heavy cream, whipped
1 can cream of celery soup

Make cream sauce from butter, flour and milk!. Add soup, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and nutmeg!. Mix well!. Add sherry!. Stir in cream!. Place broccoli in baking dish, top with chicken!. Cover with sauce!. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese!. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes!.

CHICKEN CORDON BLEU

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast
4 slices Swiss or Provolone cheese
4 thin sliced smoked ham
? cup all-purpose flour
1 egg; beaten
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
4 tablespoons butter
? cup chicken broth
1 cup whipping cream

Pound chicken breast to ?-inch thickness!. Sprinkle each piece on both sides with salt and pepper!. Place 1 cheese slice and 1 ham slice on each breast!. Roll up each breast using toothpicks to secure if necessary!. Dredge each in flour, shake off excess, then in egg and finally in bread crumbs!. Place seam side down in baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam!. Place 1 tablespoon butter on each piece of chicken!. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes until juices run clear!. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine broth and whipping cream; season to taste (salt, pepper, garlic, oregano)!. Simmer on low stirring until thickened; Pour over chicken

MARGARITA CHICKEN:

Ingredients

* 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
* 1 cup liquid margarita mix
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Pour margarita mix over chicken breasts, and marinate for 2 hours in refrigerator!.

When ready to prepare, drain and dust chicken breasts with black pepper!.

Grill on an outside grill (or George Foreman works) 3-4 minutes on each side!.

If you do not have a grill use an iron skillet!. Bring to medium high temperature and spray skillet with an oil coating!. Braise the chicken breasts until done on each side!. Place chicken breasts atop Black Beans!. (optional)

Serve with a serving of your favorite Mexican rice and Pico de Gallo!.

It seems ridiculous to have to cook for one before you feed them!. If you already have a family then you must have been cooking for them for years!. Try something new, if they don't like it, just don't make it again!. If you have to do all the cooking, then you call the shots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I usually only cook for me and my boyfriend and when using a recipe we have tons of left-overs!. you can use this site because you enter the number of servings you want and they will calculate the recipe for you it's awesome!. just use the search to find a dish you want!.
