Question: What's your favorite low-fat, low-cost meal and/or snack!?
I'm a college kid trying to avoid the freshman (well!.!.!. senior) fifteen!. I know about ramen, thank you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I am in the same situation!! Exactly!. Already dealt with the freshman 15 and lost it, now I'm trying to not gain the senior 15!.

So lets see!. I really like sauteeing (spelling!?) a piece of chicken breast in olive oil!. With the chicken, I'll boil up some veggies (depending on what was the cheapest at the store that week but I always love green beans or asparagus)!. I always put chili powder on my chicken!. You could also use pork chops (as long as they are lean!!)!. I love this kind of meal, its so fast and cheap and not fattening!. You feel healthy after eating it!.

If you are having friends over, go for some lean ground turkey sloppy joes!. Nobody notices the difference and you know everyone loves sloppy joes!. And chances are they haven't had them since who knows when!. You mix up 3/4 cup of BBQ sauce (you choose the brand) and two 10 oz cans of tomato sauce!. Get a pound of ground turkey!. I liked putting bell peppers in the mix, but that is optional!. also cut up some onions to throw in for flavor!. Brown the turkey first and then mix in all of the sauces and wait until it's hot!. I like putting a slice of cheese on my bun but hey, that is also optional (sorry for all the optional add ons)!.

I always keep a tub of yogurt around and I'll slice up fruit and mix it in!. One time I put strawberries and cinnamon in my vanilla yogurt, it was delicious!. It's a great alternative to icecream!.

Congratulations on your last year!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
