that use a lot of raisins i have a big bag of raisins and i also have apples but not that many
i do not know what to make, i cant make oatmeal cookies because i have no oatmeal : (
maybe like a pie!? or bread or something i have no idea!.

Raisin Bread
INGREDIENTS
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Grease one 9x5x3 inch loaf pan!.
In large bowl measure flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, and raisins!. Stir thoroughly!. Make a well in center!.
In small bowl beat egg until frothy!. Mix in melted butter and milk!. Pour into well!. Stir just enough to moisten!. Scrape into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan!.
Bake in 350 degree F (175 degree C) oven for 1 hour!. Serve plain or toasted with butter!.
Walnut Raisin Pie
INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
2/3 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!.
In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt, melted butter and corn syrup!. add the cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves!. Stir in nuts and raisins!. Pour into 9 inch pastry!.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until set, and pastry is golden brown!. Serve cool or slightly warmed!.

Combine raisins, white sugar, spices, sour cream, eggs, and butter or margarine in saucepan!. Bring mixture to a boil, and reduce heat!. Cook until thick, stirring constantly!. Set aside to cool!.
Blend cream cheese and confectioners' sugar together!. Fold in 2 cups whipped topping!.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes, gradually adding more bread flour as required to form a soft, elastic dough!. Place the bowl inside of a large plastic bag, close the bag loosely and let the dough rise for about 45 minutes, or until almost doubled in size!. 2-4 tbsp!. lemon juice
1 c!. sugar or 1/2 c!. sugar & sugar substitute equal to 1/2 c!. sugar
1/4 c!. flour
1/2 tsp!. cinnamon
1/4 tsp!. nutmeg
1/8 tsp!. ginger
Sprinkle of salt
1 tbsp!. butter
Prepare pie crusts and refrigerate!. Soak raisins in hot water!. Peel and slice apples thin; pour lemon juice on them!. Combine dry ingredients in bowl; sift them over apples so all are covered; let stand at least 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep slices covered evenly!. Roll out bottom pie crusts!. Drain raisins and add to apples; divide fruit mixture into equal parts!. Fill each shell with half of the mixture!.
Divide butter into 2 equal parts; put on top of the fruit mixture so it will melt evenly into fruit mixture!. Roll out top crusts and put on pie!. Cut slits in the top crusts and seal edges!. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes, until center is browned!. Cool on rack and do not cut until completely cooled!.
Second pie may be frozen, unbaked, for later use!.
